Not at home?

If we cannot deliver your parcel at your door, we will try to drop it off at your neighbours (mon - fri). If we cannot drop it off at your neighbours, we will try again the next day. Day and time of this second attempt depends on the day of the first attempt.

If neither you, nor your neighbour are at home on the second attempt, you will find a notification in your mailbox. This will tell you at which Post Office or TNT Post Servicepoint you can pick up your delivery. You will have three weeks to pick it up.

Parcels with extra services like a signature on delivery, COD or unfranked parcels, will not be delivered to your neigbours.

Delivered to your neighbour?
If you don't want your parcel to be delivered at your neighbour's address, you can ask the sender to specify this on the parcel (select 'alleen huisadres' - addressee only). In this case we will make sure that the parcel is delivered to your address only. COD, extra cover and unfranked parcels will not be delivered at your neighbours (by default). Ofcourse we will try a second attempt to deliver these to your address.

Rates

Parcels are delivered to your door directly, and the service of leaving it at your neighbours so you can pick it up more conveniently, is free of charge.

Parcels being sent from countries outside the European Union will have to clear customs. The Dutch government has assigned us to carry out the customs declaration procedure for import parcels. For more information on this subject, check out our customs costs information.
