About EPS COD

With EPS COD, TNT Post Parcel Service offers you assurance that you will be paid for your shipments going to Belgium and Luxembourg. Using this service, your parcel will only be handed over once the receiver has paid the COD amount to the driver. We collect payment up to € 2,000 and deposit this into your bank account in the Netherlands. You can be sure you'll be paid, and you offer your customers an extra payment option as well.

• delivery from Tuesday through Saturday, during the day and in the evening.

As usual, thanks to our Track & Trace system you always know the status of your parcel, and any returns are shipped back to you in the Netherlands free of charge.

How does it work?

Preparing your parcels for dispatch using Parcelware
Using Parcelware you can simplify your dispatch process, easily send us advance notification (pre-advice), and effortlessly print labels and customs forms. You can also call up detailed information on the dispatch status and history at any time. Parcelware is available in an online and a desktop version.

When preparing the pre-advice of your EPS COD parcel in Parcelware, you indicate the amount to be collected and this is printed on the dispatch label, meaning you do not need to complete a COD form for EPS COD parcels.

Payment
TNT Post Parcel Service collects the amount from your customer and deposits this into your bank account in the Netherlands. You can pass on your account number, which must be registered in the Netherlands, to your account manager. The barcode on the parcel serves as a unique payment reference number. The COD amount will be deposited as soon as possible.

Delivery times
EPS COD is presently only available for Belgium and Luxembourg. The shipments are sent with 24 hour delivery service.

What does it cost?

The rate structure for EPS COD is as follows:

Your EPS rate is stated in your contract with TNT Post Parcel Service. In addition to the item rate and the weight component, you pay a COD service fee of € 8 and a surcharge of 1% over the COD amount.

Loss or damage
In the case of loss or damage, the actual damage (based on the purchase price stated on the invoice, excluding VAT) will be paid to a maximum of € 500 per parcel.

Contract
